Join us on an epic 14-day youth leadership journey through the best-kept secrets of Fiji, a land known for its natural beauty, vibrant culture, endless oceanscapes, and unmatched hospitality.
This is more than just a youth leadership trip. It’s a unique opportunity to dive deep into outdoor leadership expeditions and adventure travel, hands-on community engagement, and an unforgettable time in Fiji.

– 6 day (5 nights) community immersion experience (homestay, language and cooking lessons, volunteer project, Fijian cultural experience, glamping and more) at Nanumi Au.
– 7-day (6 nights) remote and private island camping expedition, including an Indiana Jones version of finding the ruins of a 1500-year-old village buried in the jungle
– 2 days (1 night) Exploring Nadi and the area (local island) where Survivor is filmed.
– 2 full days of snorkelling within the 3rd biggest reef in the world
– 1 day of spearfishing and deep sea fishing
– 3 days of paddleboarding and coastline adventure
– Admission into all activities based on the itinerary
– Endless “true” stories with the world when you return.

Your community, host and Fiji Base Camp: Jen and Koli Samuta, co-founders of Nanumi Au
Nanumi Au is an Eco Village located in Navutulevu, on the land of our Mataqali Natiliva community. We focus on building community and regenerating the land. We understand many want true adventure (outside of typical tourism, resorts and hotels) and to meet the locals so we work closely with our village and local businesses to create a unique, fun, authentic and eco-aware experience.
Being village-led and run, showcasing our way of living (in an organic way, not touristic or commercialized), building relationships, and exchanging ideas and experiences will result in pride and retention of our people and culture in the village. Hosting visitors like Gen Z Travels is a way of keeping our young people in the village and not losing them to employment that can otherwise only be found in the towns and cities.
True immersion in Fijian village life gives + returns perspective about the most simple, yet important things in life: community and nature.
Your ocean explorer and stewardship team: Suncoast Adventures
At Suncoast Adventures, everything revolves around the ocean. With over 30 years of experience exploring Fiji’s Rakiraki region “from ridge to reef,” our team is passionate about sharing the sea in ways that are both adventurous and sustainable. From spear fishing, paddle boarding, and fishing to snorkelling, dolphin watching, and remote island explorations, we specialize in unforgettable ocean-based experiences. Many of our journeys take place within one of Fiji’s few Marine and Island Protected Parks, ensuring both conservation and education are at the heart of every adventure.
One of our most popular experiences, the Catch and Cook adventure, invites participants to learn the traditional ways of our ancestors—harvesting from the ocean and preparing a shared feast. It’s a celebration of teamwork, sustainability, and the family spirit that defines Fijian life. We are proud and excited to officially partner with Fireside Adventures to co-lead expedition and adventure experiences.
