Camp Fireside: Summer 5-day Overnight

Re-connect with the awesomeness of nature at Camp Fireside

Camp Fireside is all about providing a safe, welcoming environment where kids can just be kids and enjoy summer the way they are meant to. Our goal is to provide our campers with a healthy balance of structure and spontaneity as they explore the natural world.

Activities include (but are not limited to) forest parkour, paddle boarding, swimming, hiking, story-telling, creative cook-offs, story games (DnD), forest bathing, polar bear dips, arts and crafts and so much more. Each week follows a different theme to ensure our BC summer camp experiences are diverse and meet the needs of different young campers. This also means that your kids can enjoy multiple weeks with us and still feel like every day is a brand-new adventure.

Stories from Camp Fireside

Barnsy, Camp Fireside 2023

Barnsy and his masterpiece of bioluminescence on the beach

“If we get a dark enough night (especially in August), there’s a chance of seeing bioluminescence in the water. Last summer, during our final camp, on our final night we went out to watch the bioluminescence and the slept under the stars.”

Sol, Camp Fireside 2023

“Every year at Camp Fireside, I bring a special waiter’s outfit (bowtie, white collar and everything” so I can serve the camper’s creations during our Iron Chef challenge. It’s always one of the highlights of camp!”
