Do-It-Yourself Family Camp

We are helping you create your very own ultimate camp experience for the whole family

***We've decided to take a break from offering DIY Family Camps until Summer 2025. However please check out our Yukon River Family Adventures. These tours are guided and we provide you with all the gear and logistics needed to have an exceptional family experience in the wilderness. It's a different type of DIY – you still need to paddle yourself to Dawson City!

Experience the stunning natural beauty of British Columbia and join us for a hassle-free getaway with the people you love most!

With high inflation, tight family budgets, lack of access to gear and – for some – no idea where to start, getting everyone out into nature can seem impossible. That’s why we've decided to help our families get outside and enjoying the outdoors, while supporting them to build their confidence, skills, and 'how to’ so that they can eventually lead their own experiences.

How does it work?

Reach out to office@firesideadventures.ca and tell us about that vision you’ve had about taking your loved one’s camping. From there, we will work with you to create a plan, from logistics to transportation to gear to food to support staffing. Together, we will customize your experience and help you get things in motion so that you and yours can have the family camping experience that you want and need.

It’s time for everyone to unplug, get outdoors, and connected with each other!
