Attention Confident and/or Reluctant Parents:
When kids go to overnight camp, they develop a sense of independence, new skills and friends while unplugging from their digital & urban world to connect with nature and simply to have fun.
You know how challenging it is to find an overnight summer camp that is affordable, safe, high quality and will give your children the attention and support they need. We know parents want the best for their kids and the level of confidence they need from their choice of a summer camp.. We get it! This is why we operate a local, intentional and small group overnight camp for kids aged 7 to 12 years.
Our Vancouver based overnight camps are designed to provide the perfect mix of fostering children’s social-emotional learning, skill based training, gourmet cooking lessons and immersion in the North Shore local forests.
Imagine your kid(s) swimming, preparing a fabulous dinner, hiking, exploring, dancing, building, creating, dreaming, laughing and just enjoying the precious moments of being a kid at camp.

A well-nourished body makes a significant impact on a person’s experience in times of physical and/or mental exertion. Campers learn how to pack and prepare for camp meals and how to cook in a “forest” kitchen. While at camp, our campers nourish their bodies with healthy and holistic foods suited to all diets. Sprouting Chefs is a proud partner of our Fireside Overnight Kids Summer Camp
It is safer to travel in a group and it is much safer to have guides supporting you regardless of a camper perceived level of comfort and outdoor skill set. Our team puts a lot of effort into planning, preparing and most importantly, teaching campers how to be safe at camp.
It's a Life Changing Experience
If there is a concern about a camper’s physical readiness to attend one of our summer camp programs, please contact us directly. We modify our experiences based on people's abilities and capacities. Relax and let us work together to make an informed and shared decision.
Campers are not allowed to use phones, computers, watches and wear fancy jewelry while at camp. We lead trips with absolute respect for all religions, wellness practices and cultures. In particular we do our upmost best to demonstrate our respect for Indigenous people of Canada as we are visitors traveling within their rightful lands.
